About this quest is it done in nm or hm? They like to scatter in hm witout wall trick, which I doubt bots are set to do

just stand beside the canthan peasants = end of knockdown....also they scatter but only for a few seconds.

i pretty much bet the bots just run out of zos and die...get rezzed by sins run over the bridge to first peasant...that spawns 8 sins, 6 which aggro 2 sometimes wander off..kill..collect...open a chest (if there clever as alot of times theres a chest)..resign..go again...and again and again.

I gave this farm a try... really wasn't impressed. Even in HM mostly white drops. And the reason the bots sell in marketplace is because they can't talk to the luxon merchants because they are kurzick and use that as a shortcut.

The farm still works, the way" Axeman002" said isnt rly hard...
And yes there are still many many guildless N/mo running around there... but im not sure if that are "Bots" or whatever...

I used to farm all 26 assassins in a bit more than one minute (/age time 1 minute, considering also spawning, dying and resurrecting at the bridge), aggroing all of them and using the wall trick. It was a nice alternative to raptors and drops were way better than them, and there was a chest every run on average (sometimes none, sometimes one, sometimes also two, one on the bridge, the other in the village). However, if i can't repeat those times, i don't think it's worth it: yes, it can be nice sometimes, but nothing impressive. I'd love to have a perma anti-kd skill for a n/mo bar.

After reading this thread, I raced straight off to Zos(Been wondering about where to farm these drops for a while) to have a bit of a lash at farming it. TBH, I found 330 rit fastest and easiest.

But I digress.

I saw a fair number of bots while I was there, the majority on separate, but similarly named toons. I noticed an exceptionally easy way to spot them, and it had little to do with running to signs, etc.

They all run sideways! Every one of em. And I don't mean the semi-sideways run you do when you hold forwards and left/right, I'm talking the sideways you get when you strafe, then add a little forwards here and there.

Dazzlingly simple.

Yea tested and minipet only hangs around ~75% of the time..but then I realized that I can just stand next to the peasants. /doh

QFT. You see, the majority of the people who botted for RL money are still here because their bots don't use dll injection. All the chinese gold sellers who people thought got banned wern't. Instead the people banned were most likely comprised of people who got most of what they had legit, people who probably had hero rank 10-12 before they even loaded up an interupt bot, or people who probably had GWAMM on one char, and used a bot to max SS or LB or Asura or something on another toon. Are these people the ones who deserve permenant bans? Is Anet even going to do shit about all the people who bot for RL money?

JIC anyone is wondering, Anet's super top secret method of detecting bots is just 1 packet in the GW.dat that checks to see if you are injected. Thus would explain why some people using forms of KSmod or Texmod were banned. And why all those RL money botters wern't.

Also, that's the reason the number of accounts banned seems so low. The 3700 banned were, for the most part with ofc some exceptions, individual people, and not just a few people running large numbers of accounts. There are thousands of accounts running right now farming money to be sold for real money.

Bring a para hero to buff you with mega run speed and shout duration [enduring harmony][make haste][incoming][fall back], and flag him away.
